The room it was played in
The room it was played in: a plate-style reverb with SIZE, DAMP for how fast the top fades, and MIX. The REVERB bus on the desk has one, so a send is the usual way; a box on a channel is for a room of its own.
As REVERB: X is SIZE, Y is MIX. Touch to engage, lift to let go, HOLD to keep it.
Four to a socket, in order: sound runs through the slots top to bottom. Open the box and every knob is in real units; BYPASS takes it out of the path without losing its settings; the presets are along the top; any knob learns a controller and gets an automation lane.
| Knob | Range | Starts at | Scale |
|---|---|---|---|
| SIZE | 0 to 1 | 0.6 | linear |
| DAMP | 0 to 1 | 0.4 | linear |
| MIX | 0 to 1 | 0.25 | linear |
Every box ships with a bank. AS SET is the knobs as you left them; the rest are starting points, each a sound someone wanted often enough to name. Star one and it sits at the front of the bank.
| Preset | SIZE | DAMP | MIX |
|---|---|---|---|
| AMBIENCE | 0.25 | 0.6 | 0.15 |
| ROOM | 0.35 | 0.5 | 0.2 |
| CHAMBER | 0.55 | 0.45 | 0.3 |
| SPRING | 0.5 | 0.7 | 0.3 |
| DARK PLATE | 0.7 | 0.8 | 0.35 |
| BRIGHT PLATE | 0.7 | 0.1 | 0.35 |

Every box is also a line of the console's language, so a pad or a patch can carry its effects in text. The words are the knobs:
