A second take that never quite lines up
A second take that never quite lines up: a short delay (TIME) with a drift that wanders (DRIFT), spread across the field (WIDTH), blended with MIX. Doubling without singing it twice.
Four to a socket, in order: sound runs through the slots top to bottom. Open the box and every knob is in real units; BYPASS takes it out of the path without losing its settings; the presets are along the top; any knob learns a controller and gets an automation lane.
| Knob | Range | Starts at | Scale |
|---|---|---|---|
| TIME | 10 ms to 40 ms | 22 ms | linear |
| DRIFT | 0 to 1 | 0.3 | linear |
| WIDTH | 0 to 1 | 1 | linear |
| MIX | 0 to 1 | 0.5 | linear |
Every box ships with a bank. AS SET is the knobs as you left them; the rest are starting points, each a sound someone wanted often enough to name. Star one and it sits at the front of the bank.

Every box is also a line of the console's language, so a pad or a patch can carry its effects in text. The words are the knobs:
