What it is

The audio input on an audio track: the device and the input, gain, a low cut for a mic, a noise gate with a lamp, monitoring that can switch itself on only while recording, and the round trip read in milliseconds. ARM it and every pass is a take.

  • Device, input, gain, 80 Hz low cut, gate, monitor OFF / ON / AUTO
  • Round-trip readout, with a click for the shortest buffer the machine can do
  • The level ladder and a clip lamp that holds until you clear it
  • Count-in, punch in and out, and the wave drawing itself as you record
